Single, electric sawing machine
This smart electric sawing machine is characterised by a wide range of applications, finding use across many sectors: metal wholesalers, construction & infrastructure, and the furniture industry. The broad product range, combined with universal tools, makes this saw ideally suited to processing small batches.
The automatic sawing machine is fitted with an electric clamp, which can deliver a highly precise clamping force. This makes this saw ideally suited to thin-walled products.
Specifications:
| Diameter | 8 mm – 90 mm |
| Square | 10 mm – 80 mm |
| Rectangle | 15 x 10 mm – 85 x 60 mm |
| Starting length | 2,000 mm – 9,000 mm |
| Product length | 10 mm – 5,000 mm |
| Length tolerance | +/- 0.1 mm (pipe diameter 30 mm) |
| Productivity | up to 1,500 products per hour |
| Set-up time | 2 minutes |
| Saw blade change time | 2 minutes |
Advantages:
Usage: flexible; length and diameter can be changed without manual adjustment.
Process: sawing advice, including calculation of achievable production output.
Quality: good length accuracy thanks to a servo-controlled product gripper.
Sigma, an automatic sawing machine designed for productivity
This automatic sawing machine is ideally suited to the efficient processing of large volumes. We can cut up to six profiles simultaneously on this machine. By varying the rotational speed and feed rate at every position along the tube, cutting times of less than a second are achievable. This variation in feed rate and cutting speed enables us to achieve long service life for the saw blade.
This automatic sawing machine is therefore ideally suited to the automotive sector and tube manufacturers, where, due to the volumes involved, the cost per cut is a key factor.
Specifications:
| Diameter | 6 mm – 90 mm |
| Square | 10 mm – 80 mm |
| Rectangle | 15 x 10 mm – 85 x 60 mm |
| Starting length | 3,700 mm – 9,000 mm |
| Number of profiles per cutting cycle | maximum 6 |
| Product length | 10 mm – 3,000 mm |
| Length tolerance | +/- 0.1 mm (pipe diameter 25 mm) |
| Productivity | up to 15,000 products per hour |
| Set-up time | 12 minutes |
| Saw blade change time | 2 minutes |
Advantages:
Application: high productivity with long lengths thanks to a gripper with a reach of 3,000 mm.
Costs: low cost per cut, partly due to favourable tooling costs.
Omega, automatic metal sawing machine
Thanks to its robust construction, this latest automatic saw in our range is suitable for larger and heavier metal sections. In terms of productivity, this saw picks up where the Sigma reaches its maximum capacity, by also performing double cuts on larger dimensions.
This automatic metal sawing machine is used in the infrastructure sector, by tube manufacturers and in the automotive sector. Thanks to its special clamping mechanism, single-piece products can be cut across the entire range using universal tools.
Specifications:
| Diameter (single-cut) | 8 mm – 102 mm |
| diameter (double cut) | 8 mm – 76 mm |
| Round bar stock | 8 mm – 50 mm |
| Square | 10 mm – 80 mm |
| Rectangle | 15 x 10 mm – 100 x 60 mm |
| Starting length | 3,700 mm – 12,000 mm |
| Product length | 30 mm – 6,000 mm |
| Length tolerance | +/- 0.1 mm (pipe diameter 30 mm) |
| Productivity in single-pass cutting | up to 1,500 pieces per hour |
| Productivity with dual cutting | up to 2,750 pieces per hour |
| Set-up time | 4 minutes |
| Saw blade change time | 2 minutes |
Advantages:
Application: high productivity even with larger diameters.
Product range: wide range, short changeover times thanks to universal tools.
Options for the models above:
Operation via barcode scanner. The automatic sawing machine sets itself up by scanning the barcode of the product or starting material. This makes the machine very easy to operate!
Control systems are fully compatible with Industry 4.0. They can be fully linked and integrated with an ERP system.
A nesting programme to achieve optimal product layout from a pre-specified starting length, enabling a 5% saving in material consumption!
