History of Bewo
Bewo was founded in 1936 in Tilburg, the Netherlands, as a workshop and tool-making business for the local textile industry.
With the industrialisation of that period, Bewo began developing its own cutting systems. The very first frame saws and circular saws came onto the market in the 1950s and were an immediate success. In the years that followed, the saws were further developed, and the first automatic sawing machines were built in the mid-1960s.
The advent of modern control systems gave rise to a new generation of cutting lines.
Bewo today
In 2008, Bewo was acquired by Nivora Holding. Nivora holds shares in innovative industrial companies, with the aim of sustainably developing and maintaining high-quality industrial expertise and employment in the Netherlands.
Since then, Bewo has developed the latest generation of tube processing lines and continues to play a pioneering role in the automation of cutting systems across various industries.
